Flight Test and Certification

GAC has on staff and within its network of associates qualified people capable of carrying out Flight Test services ranging from writing a test and evaluation plan to managing and executing a full flight test and certification program. As a qualified experimental test pilot, Keith Gladstone has over ten (10) years experience leading and conducting operational and engineering and flight test programs. Todd Macuda’s experience includes time spent at the Canadian National Research Council Flight Research Laboratory (NRC- FRL) conducting flight tests related to civil and military aeromedical and aviation human factors and aerospace-related programs. GAC can offer flight test and certification services in the following areas:

Test and Evaluation Master Plan : this includes the detailed high level planning necessary to successfully execute complicated and demanding test programs in accordance with certification requirements.

Test Planning : this area focuses on test plans that will permit the test team to gather the required test results in an efficient and safe manner.

Technical Review Board (TRB) : This is a comprehensive overview of the test process to ensure that the test methodology being proposed will enable the test team to collect the desired data.

Safety Review Board : After the completion of the test plan and TRB, GAC can conduct a safety review board to ensure flight tests are conducted safely and risks are mitigated in a measured manner.

Conduct of Flight Test (DT&E/OT&E): GAC can conduct and lead flight tests to include flight management, data recording and flying.

Flight Test Reports : After the completion, GAC can provide detailed post-flight reports and final test reports.

Flight Certification : GAC will assist clients in achieving TC/FAA Certification.
